So back to Ceviche’s for our second visit. First visit with Wendy was really awesome. We ate outside the bar. experimented with several different items from the ceviche menu and especially remember the Seabass as really really good.
Also, a carne(beef) empanada very well executed. It was a empanada that was baked not fried. It was good, not as good as the ones I’ve had from the Argentinian restaurants, but still very tasty. The highlight of the night was the beingnet dessert. It was like a little round doughnut just absolutely blew our minds delicious.
Now, second time, just Leslie and I we did the el quarto of four oz. samplers of all of the main ceviches, and they were all good. Langoustine and mango mahi-mahi stood out. For some reason it didn’t seem as well seasoned as the first time, but they were all good. We added the fried oysters, which I thought were really good and finished up with a final item, which we were really looking forward to, the beignets and they were OK. They didn’t have the lightness and airiness of the first time so I’m not sure whether it was just a different night or they changed their formula. Whatever it was the second time and was not as good as the first time but still, we would recommend this Panmanian restaurant for people to go to if you like ceviche.
